BRIEF OVERVIEW
Tri-Tech Sales Associates, Inc. was founded on October 1, 1981, as manufacturers' sales representative.The sales areas covered by Tri-Tech Sales Associates, Inc. are: the five boroughs of New York City, the New York State counties of Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, Sullivan, Putnam, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk; all areas in New Jersey, north of Trenton and Asbury Park.
To support the sales effort in this area, a full-time office staff is employed. This staff enables customers to place purchase orders, obtain technical information, receive manufacturer's literature and expedite purchase orders. Communications are maintained via mail, e-mail, telephone, mobile telephone, facsimile, e-mail as well as two way mobile phone "Nextel" technology for instant office to field communications. Additional sales support is obtained through the use of "Empowering Systems" a Lotus based software program. This software has been in place for over six years providing up to date information on all quotations, pricing and customer related data, as well as a complete company calendar and e-mail functionality. All data can easily be sorted by salesmen, distributor, end-user, dollar or part number to name but a few. This massive data accumulation allows any Tri-Tech employee to access previous quotes, pricing and important customer data at the touch of a button and it enables our inside staff to react quickly to quotations and related matters extremely efficiently. All outside salesmen replicate each night from their home offices allowing complete two way access on all sales and customer related matters. In 2005 Tri-Tech once again invested in a complete overhaul of all its desktops, laptops and server equipment making our system "state of the art technology." Tri-Tech service to its customers for over 24 years is second to none.
Tri-Tech's engineering capability and technically trained sales force has earned the respect of both customers and manufacturers alike as a "professional and technical agency". Products are introduced and sold into a variety of markets including, but not limited to, electrical distributors, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, original equipment manufacturers, industrial accounts and electrical utilities.
Sales meetings and seminars are held on a regular basis to keep both Tri-Tech's sales force and customers up to date on Tri-Tech manufacturer's policies and products. Tri-Tech Newsletters are published on a regular basis, to introduce new products and keep customers aware of product developments and changes.

PRINCIPALS
Robert M. Tuniewicz, PresidentA founding partner of Tri-Tech, previously with Cooper Industries, Bussmann Fuse Division for five years as a District Sales Engineer, where he was responsible for over $3 million in sales and was awarded Bussmann's first National Sales Award. Has presented seminars on such varied subjects as the National Electrical Code, Application of Fuses, Ground Fault, Component Protection and Short Circuit Analysis Coordination. Published in "Power" magazine, December 1979 and "Electrical Wholesaling", February 1990. Previous experience as a project manager for five years with Zwicker Electric, a major New York City electrical contractor. Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology. Presently responsible for Tri-Tech's management and distributor network sales as well as company policies for the New York/New Jersey Market; is the liaison between Tri-Tech and the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED); present board member and treasurer of the New York/New Jersey Chapter of the National Electrical Manufacturers Representative Association (NEMRA). Bob is holder of three US patents and registered as a Honored Member Americas Registry edition 2005/2010.
Gil D. Talamo, Vice President
Gil is a graduate electrical engineer. Upon graduation of N.Y. Maritime with a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Gil entered General Electric's prestigious Technical Marketing Program as a Sales Engineer in training. Gil came off the program as a full-fledged Sales Engineer after only 1 year on the program. After 4 years with General Electric, Gil left GE to become a District Sales Engineer with Cooper Industries, Bussmann Division in Southern California. After several years working on the West Coast, Gil was transferred at his request back to New York where he grew up. Gil continued to work for Bussmann in the New York Marketplace concentrating on the Electrical Consulting Engineering community of NYC. Looking to broaden his opportunities as a Sales Engineer, Gil joined Tri-Tech as a Technical Specialist concentrating primarily at the Specification Level to solidify Tri-Tech's manufacturer's presence and spec position. After 8 years with the Company, Gil's exceptional talents and efforts have lead to a partnership/ownership in Tri-Tech Sales and was named Vice President, Sales & Marketing in March of 1999. Gil is a holder of two US patents.
OUTSIDE SALES
Ron Mushinsky
Ron Mushinsky has over 22 years of sales experience in the electrical industry. Prior to joining the Tri-Tech Sales team, he worked for companies including GE Supply (now Gexpro), Swift Electrical Supply, Graybar, Aurora Electrical Supply, and A-B Electrical Supply (now Turtle and Hughes). Ron has extensive experience selling to commercial and residential electrical contractors, property managers, OEM, and MRO accounts in the New Jersey and New York marketplace. He has a Bachelors Degree in Communications from William Paterson College in Wayne, NJ.
Michael Sussman
Mike is the most recent addition to the Tri-Tech outside sales force. Mike has operated his own electronic representative business as well as working for other New York based representative firms both inside and outside sales. Mike's extensive knowledge of products and servicing of the New York / New Jersey customer strengthens Tri-Tech's sales team both inside and out. Mike is a graduate of York College where he holds a bachelor of arts as well as being a 1999 graduate of Dale Carnegie.
Michael Tuniewicz
Mike is a graduate of Hofstra University in communications. Mike's first responsibilities with Tri-Tech were in inside sales where he quickly excelled to become the office manager. Mike has branched out and is presently doing outside sales 4 days each week. His excellent organizational abilities and customer relation skills has greatly benefited the entire Tri-Tech organization. Mike also brings to Tri-Tech tremendous communication and computer skills to help strengthen Tri-Tech's inside sales performance, which is the lifeblood of any successful Sales Representative Agency.
John D'Elena
John D'Elena has over 20 year of sales management experience in the electrical industry. Prior to joining Tri-Tech Sales, John has worked for companies including Klockner Moeller, SQ. D., GE Supply and Hubbell Wiring Devices were he sold product to multiple outlets and markets in the NY Metro area. John's area of experience includes motor controls, sensors, PLCs, circuit breakers, control panels, electrical services and wiring devices. John has an AAS Degree in Electronics and an AAS in Management.
INSIDE SALES
Jason Kahn
Since graduating from Stony Brook University, with a degree in political science, in September of 1992, Jason has held various sales and marketing positions in the electronic distribution marketplace. Jason joined Tri-Tech's sales team bringing a high degree of pro-active sales capabilities. His team motivational skills have helped to improve our overall sales team's ability to close business. Jason has recently taken over as office manager and is responsible for all customer relations as well as quotation and technical issues.
Brenda Marrero
Brenda is currently working towards her bachelor degree in Business managment. Prior to joining the Tri-Tech staff, Brenda was working for a financial sales company and has extensive customer service skills. She has been an excellent addition to the sales team.
Barbara Marino
Barbara, our new sales assistant is the latest addition to the Tri-Tech team. She comes with over eight years of sales experience & four years in premier customer service positions. Her skills are diverse and are predominately people oriented. Barbara's diligence and attention to detail make her a valuable asset to our staff.
Lynne F. Tuniewicz
Lynne is a graduate of Hofstra University where she holds a bachelors degree in fine arts graduating. Previous to joining Tri-Tech Lynne ran a very successful sales agency where she was responsible for overseeing and directing inside sales, customer relations and the liaison between the agent and the principal. Lynne backs up Tri-Tech's inside sales force and is responsible for all accounting duties, sales reports, and commission statements.
